JUSTIN BEIBER HAS A CHRISTMAS ALBUM
If I were a present day Tween, I'd be CRAZY for this kid but I am not a Tween...not even close.
Back when we were, Parker and I were CRAZY for Donny Osmond.
Actually we still are.

Drew Barrymore and Donny Osmond's love child = Justin Beiber :)
There are approx 100 Osmond's in that family so, Donny and Drew chose to name their love child by a different last name.
A last name that I think Drew made up after she hit the bottle hard and tried to say Barrymore really fast.

THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND....
Back in the day I thought I was pretty hip... sometimes I still have illusions that I am as cool as I thought I was in high school.... however there are some things, happening currently, that I just don't understand.
1. THE KARDASHIANS.
2. How any teenager who watches 16 and Pregnant would go off and get pregnant.
3. Those big holes in people's ears.

A GROWN UP MOMENT
I promise that the grown up moments will be few and far between in this blog.
However, today I am feeling the need to salute the word BENIGN.
For the next few days it will be my favourite word.

Way back in the early 80's, while watching The Jerry Lewis Labour Day Telethon,
Jerry Lewis (joking) introduced this next band as his son.
I was too young to understand that Jerry was joking.
I thought; "Wow, Jerry's son's band is good but his son must be a full blown alcoholic with those puffy eyes and that scratchy whiskey voice. It's nice that Jerry is giving him a chance to turn his life around."
The band was none other then Huey Lewis and The News.
I've never been a fan of Huey Lewis and The News and thanks to them,
I was never that excited about the Back To The Future movies.
I just couldn't get in to their music or style.
Didn't help matters that the aggressive, no style, Tom Boy, Girl's Field Hockey Team at our High School was ALL about Huey Lewis and The News.
The one and only song by HL&TN that I can say I liked or like is this one.
BTW, the video is ASS.
My High School drama class could have done better then this.
The makeup artist should be shot.
Maybe that's who's bed they are hovering over.

when he was working as a waiter at his father's Greek Restaurant.
It is also a known fact that Michael Jackson's favorite song was "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen.
Listen to Michael Jackson's music and you will hear it's strong influence.
***Queen were originally reluctant to release this as a single, but backstage after a Queen gig at the Los Angeles forum, a visiting Michael Jackson convinced them it would be a hit. "Michael and all his brothers were all going 'That's a fantastic track. You must release it,'" recalled Queen drummer Roger Taylor to Q magazine December 2009.
And who can ever forget Eddie Van Halen, in all his arrogance, thinking so little of Michael Jackson's
